DWA has adopted its gender policy very strictly and women with disabilities have always played a key role in the diverse scope of DWA. Since 2003 DWA has been encouraging women with disabilities to become the productive part of the society by providing them pick and drop service along with all the required and relevant support for empowering them to take the lead in their lives.

ADVOCACY FOR RIGHTS OF WWDS

DWA has been the strongest voice and advocacy group of persons with disabilities. DWA has been demanding disability rights since its inception. At DWA, women with disabilities are given awareness about their disability rights. DWA frequently conducts awareness sessions on the disability rights for women with disabilities and their families. Such sessions are also conducted frequently for academic institutions and for corporate sector as well. 

SUPPORT SERVICE FOR WWD SURVIVORS

Maintaining the strong connection with the legal advisors and women activists groups, DWA has always provided timely support to the female victims of GBV and harassment. DWA connects these survivors to the concerned legal authorities and DWA also conducts meetings between these survivors and their culprits to resolve discriminatory or family issues with mutual understanding.
