PHYSIOTHERAPY PROGRAMS

PHYSIOTHERAPY UNIT, ILC, MANGHOPIR
Manghopir is one of the most underdeveloped slums of Karachi, and the disability rate is much higher there. DWA has established a physiotherapy unit offering free-of-cost services.
CERBRAL PALCY REHABILITATION CENTER
DWA offers free of cost therapy for its users with cerebral palsy. PWD having CP need frequent therapy as their muscles get stiff if they are denied treatment for long.
TIBBI SAHULIYAT BARAYE MAZOOREEN
DWA has engaged a team of medical specialists to manage its customized mobile clinic. This clinic visits residents of the slums of Karachi with severe disabilities, and it also provides them with health care.
MONTHLY MEDICAL SUPPLIES
Needy persons with severe disabilities are provided with the monthly medical supplies along with recommendation medicines so that they can maintain hygiene for healthy lifestyle.
MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS FOR PWDS
Considering the tensed life of PWDs for bearing all sorts of disability challenges, DWA conducts frequent mental health sessions to guide PWDs to avoid depression and stressful life.
SPONSORED MEDICAL AND SURGICAL TREATMENT
On receiving requests from the deserving families of person with disabilities, DWA arranges sponsored medication, lab tests, medical and surgical treatment for the ailing PWDs.
